Mahbub Alam Khan and Patrick De Costa reached the semifinals of Chess Competition in the DRU-BKMEA Sports Festival eliminating their rivals at the Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU) office in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
In the day's quarterfinals, Mahbub of Diganta Television defeated Arif Sohel of Destiny while Patrick De Costa beat Ikhtiaruddin of Bhorer Kagoj.
