DRU donates Tk 0.5m to journo Faisal's family

Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU) has donated Tk 0.5 million to the family of Ahmed Faisal, former member of the organisation, and a staff reporter of private television channel Boishakhi TV, who was killed in Nepal plane crash on March 12 last, reports BSS.
DRU president Saiful Islam and general secretary Syed Sukkur Ali Shuvo jointly handed over a cheaque for the amount to Faisal's father Md Shamsuddin Sarder, said a press release.
DRU joint secretary Md Moinuddin Khan and finance secretary Manik Muntasir were, among others, present on occasion.
