Drug peddler killed in Comilla

A man was stabbed to death by some miscreants at Kemtoli village in Borura upazila on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Amir Hossain, 35, an alleged drug peddler of the village. Nasir Mridha, officer-in-charge of Borura Police Station, said on information, police recovered the body of Amir from a filed in the village in the afternoon. The body bore 10 injury marks, the OC added. The body was sent to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Amir was released from the jail one month ago as he secured bail from a local court in connection with a case filed for possessing drugs, according to a news agency.
