Drug trader arrested with wine

Members of the Detective Branch (DB) of police in a drive arrested a man along with 22 bottles of wine at Rathkhola in Faridpur town on Thursday night. The arrested was identified as Jipu Mondol of Laxmipur area in the town. Acting on secret information, a team of DB police conducted a drive at Rathkhola at about 10:30 pm and arrested Jipu along with 22 bottles of wine, said Officer-in-charge of district DB Sunil Karmakar. Jipu has been involved in drug trading for long. A case was filed, according to UNB.
