Drug trader held in Magura

An alleged drug trader was arrested along with Yaba tablets at Sreepur upazila in Magura on Tuesday afternoon. The arrested is Bachchu Sheikh, 35, a resident of Hogaldanga village of the upazila. Sayed Aktaruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Sreepur Police Station, said on secret information, a police team conducted a drive in Kajli Bazar area and arrested Bachchu when he was selling a large quantity of Yaba tablets. The arrestee has been involved in drug trade in the area for long, the OC said, according to UNB.
