Drug trader held: Large quantity of Yaba seized

Police arrested an alleged drug trader at Joira Purbapara village at Manikganj Sadar upazila on Wednesday afternoon. The arrested is Rubel Hossain, 25, son of Abed Ali, a resident of Purba Baichail village at the upazila. Shah Alam, sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station, said on secret information, a team of police conducted a drive at the village and arrested Rubel while he along with his two associates was selling a large quantity of Yaba tablets in the afternoon. However, his two associates managed to flee the scene. Police recovered a large quantity of the contraband drug from him, according to UNB.
