Drug trader held with 300 bottle Phensidyl

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested an alleged drug trader and recovered 300 bottles of Phensidyl from him in Chaklapara in Jhenidah town on Wednesday. The arrestee was identified as Rabiul Islam, 40, son of Lutfor Rahman, a resident of Chaklapara area. Niaz Mohammad Foysal, commanding officer of Rab-6, said on secret information, a team of Rab conducted a raid at Rabiul’s house in the area and arrested him. Later, based on his confessional statement, the elite force recovered 300 bottles of the contraband Indian syrup from the house. Later, Rabiul was handed over to Sadar Police Station, according to UNB.
