Drug trader held with hemp

Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested an alleged drug trader along with 57 packs of hemp in Nijnanduali area in Magura town on Tuesday night. The arrested is Muktar Sheikh, son of Aziz Sheikh of the area. MA Hashem, officer-in-charge of Magura Sadar Police Station, said Muktar had been trading in different types of contraband items, including phensidyl and hemp in the area for long. On secret information, a team of DB police conducted a drive in the area and caught Muktar red-handed when selling cannabis and other drug items, according to UNB.
