Drugs worth Tk 10m seized at airport

Customs intelligence has seized illegally imported drugs worth about Tk 10 million Tuesday at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport freight section.
The medicine, made in Pakistan, was imported without approval of the department of drug administration.
Any type of medicine imported without prior approval of the department is considered as illegal.
Earlier, the drug administration department expressed its concern over increased import of illegal drugs without its approval.
