DSCC, DCCI to facilitate trade licence-related services

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) will work together to help provide trade licence-related services to the trade body members who belong to the corporation's jurisdiction.
Both DSCC and DCCI have taken the initiative to provide faster services to the entrepreneurs of the trade body and help simplify their business activities.
As a part of the initiative, DSCC and DCCI will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the trade body office today (Thursday). A trade licence service booth will also be set up at the DCCI office after signing the MoU.
Primarily, the booth will function for two weeks after its launching.
Members of DCCI who belong to DSCC may get new trade licences or can renew their existing licences by paying fees and submitting the required papers.
DSCC Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh is scheduled to be present at the MoU signing ceremony as the chief guest at the DCCI auditorium.
DCCI President Barrister Md Sameer Sattar, its directors and traders are also likely to be present at the MoU signing ceremony.
