DSE clarification

A photo caption titled "Fire-fighters rushed to extinguish a fire, caused by electric short circuit, at the third floor of DSE annex building Saturday" published in Sunday's FE on page 8, has attracted the attention of the Dhaka Stock Exchange.
The DSE in a clarification Sunday said that, the prime bourse of the country is in the process of installing CCTV cameras in all the floors of its premises. The DSE has trained personnel to assist in the installation process to ensure maximum security to investors. However, due to minor short circuit in CCTV wire fire sparked which was instantly fully extinguished by the on duty DSE personnel before the fire could make any harm or damage.
The investors, therefore, are requested not to be panicked by the incident.
