DSE congratulates BSEC chairman Prof Khairul

A delegation of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), led by DSE chairman Professor Abul Hashem, on Wednesday called on Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Professor M. Khairul Hossain to congratulate him for his getting extension for the second time.
The delegation also included, among others, DSE directors Mrs Monowara Hakim Ali, Md. Hanif Bhuiya and Minhaz Mannan Emon, and managing director KAM Majedur Rahman.
BSEC commissioners Md. Amzad Hossain, Dr. Swapan Kumar Bala and executive director Mohammad Saifur Rahman were also present at the courtesy meeting between the DSE and the securities regulator.
On Tuesday, the BSEC chairman Prof Khairul got extension for two more years. His existing tenure is scheduled to end on May 14. Earlier, Mr. Khairul was promoted to senior secretary on March 15. The government had appointed Prof Khairul as the BSEC chairman for three years in May 2011. In May 2014, the government extended his tenure till May 14 this year.
