DSE, CSE last session of 2015 open higher

The last trading session of the outgoing calendar year opened higher on both bourses –Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) on Thursday.
DSEX, the prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), went up by 9.37 points or 0.20 per cent to reach at 4,614.29, after first 30 minutes of the trade, when the report was filed at 11:00am.
The two other indices also saw positive trend in early hour. The DS30 index, comprising blue chips, advanced 0.4.04 points or 0.23 per cent to stands at 1,745.64.
The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) gained 2.34 points or 0.21 per cent to stand at 1,106.96.
Turnover stood at Tk 367 million on the premier bourse when the report was filed.
Of the issues traded till then, 108 advanced, 64 declined and 49 remained unchanged.
Emerald Oil was the most traded stocks till then with shares Tk 36 million changing hands followed by Summit Alliance Port, Olympic Industries and Atlas Bangladesh.
The port city bourse –Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also saw positive trend in early hour of trading with its Selective Category Index -- CSCX – gaining 11.53 points to stand at 8,547.09, also at 11:00am.
Of the issues traded till then, 36 gained, 22 declined and 13 remained unchanged on the CSE with a turnover value of Tk 12 million.
