DSE, CSE start with gain

The prices of shares on the country’s twin bourses – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – rose in early hours of trading on Thursday, the last session of the week. DSEX, the benchmark index of the DSE, advanced 44.10 points or 0.94 per cent to reach 4707.24 points at 11:15 am. Of the issues traded till then, 164 gained, 36 declined and 37 remained unchanged. The port city bourse, CSE, also gained today. Its key index – CSCX – added 31.36 points to stand at 8780.81 points also at 11:15am. Of the issues traded till then, 68 gained, 42 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
