DSE, CSE up at open

The prices of most of the shares on the country's twin-bourse – the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed positive trend in early hours of trading on Wednesday, the 4th session of the week. The DSE benchmark index, DSEX, gained 67.40 points or 1.32 per cent to reach 5141.71 points at 11:10am. Of the issues traded till then, 175 advanced, 22 declined and 24 remained unchanged. The port city bourse – CSE – also moved up today. Its key index, CSCX, gained 107.99 points to stand at 9572.19, also at 11:10am. Of the issues traded till then, 88 gained, 11 declined and 8 remained unchanged.
