DSE dispels Prime Textile Spinning's explanation

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has dispelled an explanation of Prime Textile Spinning Mills Ltd on a show-cause cum hearing notice served on the company directors by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
"The news published in The Financial Express in its 'corporatewatch' column on July 8 regarding the issuance of SEC show-cause cum hearing notice on Prime Textile Spinning, its directors, managing director and company secretary for non-compliance with securities-related laws in connection with the audited financial statements is correct," assistant general manager of DSE Syed Abu Zafar Shamim said in a letter sent to Prime Textile Thursday.
Earlier, the company in a letter to the FE had claimed that the said news was not correct.
