DSE, IFC move to empower women

An initiative has been taken to promote women empowerment and gender equality in the workplaces.
Dhaka Stock Exchange, International Finance Corporation and UN Women and CSR Centre jointly organised an event titled "Ring the Bell for Gender Equality" at a city hotel recently, calling upon the businesses to take measures in this regard.
Women's economic empowerment is a key driver of sustainable development and a key corporate sustainability issue, said a statement on the event organised to celebrate the International Women's Day.
