DSE indices up again

Indices on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Tuesday climbed as the investors are buying issues after profit taking.
Market operators said stock prices are regaining as the investors are coming with their money after a short spell of profit taking.
On Tuesday's trading session DSE General Index (DGEN), DSE-20 Index (DS20) and All Shares Price Index (DSI) gained by 23.030 points, 22.810 points and 18.115 points to close at 2378.830, 2166.782 and 1931.549 respectively.
The total turnover was Tk 1.870 billion from Tk 1.785 billion on the previous day. The total market capitalisation was Tk 538.863 billion from Tk 520.159 billion on the previous day.
Out of 204 traded issues, prices of 106 gained, 74 declined and 24 remained unchanged on the day.
Square Pharma was the turnover leader with a trading volume of Tk 241.545 million followed by Southeast Bank with Tk 103.484 million, BRAC Bank with Tk 101.621 million, NBL with Tk 77.112 million, Prime Bank with Tk 58.580 million, Summit Power with Tk 55.216 million, Power Grid with Tk 54.668 million, Unicap with Tk 51.206 million, Shahjalal Bank with Tk 51.179 million and Beximco Pharma with Tk 48.448 million on the day.
Prices of Square Pharma gained by 2.86 per cent to close at Tk 5035.00 per share, Southeast Bank by 0.48 per cent to Tk 564.50, BRAC Bank by 1.66 per cent to Tk 913.75, NBL by 1.35 per cent to Tk 936.00, Prime Bank by 0.06 per cent to Tk 769.00, Summit Power by 3.09 per cent to Tk 1148.00, Union Capital (Unicap) by 237.00 per cent to Tk 33.70 and Beximco Pharma by 4.16 per cent to Tk 57.50.
