DSE to introduce T+2 from April 16

Country’s premier bourse, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), will introduce the T+2 settlement cycle from April 16, according to an announcement in the DSE website Sunday. Currently, the DSE follow the T+3 settlement cycle. It means the shares have to wait three transaction days to be matured. Same system will be applicable to mature the money for selling shares. After introduction of the new system (T+2), the shares/share selling money will mature within two transaction days. The other capital market of the country, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) introduced the T+2 share settlement cycle from November 3 last year, according to a news agency.
