Thursday, 31 July 2014
Trading at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) will resume on Sunday after nine days of vacations, including a five-day-holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr and two days of weekly holidays, as declared earlier by the DSE authorities. The DSE authorities on July 10 announced that transactions of shares and the office of the stock exchange would remain closed from July 27 to July 31 on the occasion of Holy Eid-ul-Fitr. The office of the stock exchange and the share trading, however, will resume on August 3 as the first two days of August fall in weekend. The DSE office will remain open from 9:30 am to 5:30pm after the Eid holiday when the share transaction will be from 10:30 am to 2:30pm, they said, according to BSS.
