DSE trading to continue till 3:15pm

Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) resumed at 1:15pm today (Sunday) after being halted at 10:35am following a technical glitch and it will continue till 3:15pm, said a DSE official. Meanwhile, DSEX, the prime index of the DSE went down by 9.64 points or 0.20 per cent to stand at 4,583.09 points at 1:50pm when the report was filled at 11am. The DS30 index, comprising blue chips, however, gained 0.38 points or 0.02 per cent to reach at 1,676.02 points. The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) also up by 1.07 points or 0.010 per cent to stand at 1,021.29 points.
DSE turnover stands at Tk 481 million when the report was filed at 11am. Of the issues traded till then, 49 advanced, 118 declined and 30 remained unchanged. The port city bourse – the CSE also witnessed negative trend  and its Selective Category Index --- CSCX lost 27.31 points to stand at 8,876.96 points, also at 1:50am. Of the issues traded till then, 48 gained, 113 declined and 7 remained unchanged with a turnover value of Tk 200.16 million.
