DSE witnesses positive trend

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witnessed positive trend in the early hour of trading on Tuesday, the third session of the week. DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, moved up after half-an-hour's trade to reach 4497.93852 points at 11:00am. The DS30 index, comprising blue chips, also gained to stand at 1101.85889 points. The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) advanced to reach 1742.79777 points when the report was filed. Meanwhile, trading time at Bangladesh’s twin bourse – the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – has been rescheduled for Holy Ramadan month. Throughout the month, trading at the DSE and the CSE will begin at 10:30am and continue till 1:30pm. However, the DSE and CSE offices will remain open from 9:30am to 4:00pm.
