DSHE directs secondary schools to assist in Notun Kuri Sports event

Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) on Monday instructed all secondary educational institutes to assist in the 'Notun Kuri Sports 2026-27' event, reports BSS.
The event, scheduled to begin in September at Upazila level, will cover 10 sports events.
The DSHE directed all secondary educational institutes to provide all out support and assistance to make the event successful.
The directives include: inspiring students aging 12-14 to do registration for the event, informing students about the event during class time and displaying the event details in the notice boards.
The order also asked school authorities to display drop down banners in the most visible places of the institutes and announce the event on the websites and social media platforms of the institutes.
Mentioned, the registration for the Notun Kuri Sports 2026-27 has begun on July 1 and will continue till August 31. DSHE has taken this initiative following the directive from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
