DU admission seekers continue hunger strike

Over 100 students continued their hunger strike at the Central Shaheed Minar for the second day on Thursday demanding the withdrawal of the Dhaka University (DU) authorities’ decision not to allow them to sit for its admission test twice. Eight students were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital after they fell sick during the hunger strike, according to a news agency.
