DU computer lab opened

A computer lab and a 'Dr Eshak Seminar Library' were installed at the Department of Islamic Studies of Dhaka University Tuesday.
DU Vice-Chancellor SMA Faiz inaugurated the lab and the seminar library as the chief guest in the function. Deans of different faculties of the university were present on the occasion.
Kazi Harun-or-Rashid of Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd, Managing Director of Nexus Group and Director of BGMEA Rashid Ahmed Hossaine and Managing Director of SunMoon Group of Industries Ltd Umme Kulsum also attended the ceremony as the guests of honour.
All of them assured the teachers and students of the department of giving any assistance for the development of Islamic Studies Department and enable its students to use the latest technology to keep pace with the present competitive world.
Department Chairman Mohammad Ruhul Amin presided over the programme.
