On information Friday, Shahbagh police rescued Farhad Islam (25), owner of the Farhad Telecom, from the university's Jagannath Hall.
All  the four students are the leaders and activists of  Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and have been landed in jail.
Earlier, the BCL also expelled them from the organisation and asked the authorities to give  them  exemplary punishment, if they are found guilty.
