DU fake student nabbed

The Dhaka University (DU) authorities Sunday night captured a fake student with fake certificates from a Hall of the university's and handed him over to the Shahbagh police.
The fake student was identified as Kamruzza-man (Shohag), son of Sheikh Sadi of Gaibandha district.
Sources said Kamruzza-man claimed himself to be a student of the university and resided at room No 363 of Hazi Muhammad Muhsin Hall.
During his stay at the dormitory, he introduced himself as a student of different departments that raised doubts among the hall's students.
Later, the students informed the authority of the matter, sources said.
On information the DU proctorial team captured him from the dormitory Sunday night.
Proctor KM Saiful Islam said they raided Kamruzzaman's room and found a BSS (hons) certificate of Political Science Department, a marks-sheet of 3rd year examination of Marketing Department of the university, and SSC and HSC certificates of Rajshahi Board, and three Bangladeshi passports.
