A total of 73,357 admission seekers submitted their application through online in last six days to vie for Dhaka University (DU) admission test for the academic year 2010-11.
Among the applications, 21,555 applications were submitted under Ka-unit, 12,192 under Kha-unit, 14,172 under Ga-unit, 23, 660 under Gha-unit and 1,778 under Cha unit, university sources said.
But, the applicants alleged a lot of difficulties they faced during uploading photographs, loading pay in slips and result showing.
Baha Uddin, a Madrasah student, said he achieved golden GPA-5 in Alim examination (Roll-104200), but the university website showed it only GPA 4.25.
Hira, another applicant, said he did not obtain his 'pay in slip' despite trying several times submitting his HSC roll in the website.
A university official said they are noticing about 700 to 800 allegations every day.
Admitting the allegations, Prof Dr Md Hasibur Rashid, convener of the DU online admission committee, told the FE that mostly Madrasah students were facing the difficulties as their additional subjects were not fixed.
He asked the applicants, who did not get pay in slips, to submit their SSC, HSC scanned transcript along with application by mail to admission@univdhaka.edu.
