DU gets research cell

Dhaka University (DU) Research Coordination and Monitoring Cell (DURCMC) has inaugurated on Monday at the university conference hall of Centre for Advanced Research in Sciences (CARS).
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the centre as the chief guest, while Pro-VC (Academic) Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal was present as the special guest.
The DU deans, directors, chairmen and other officials joined the programme.
The Vice-Chancellor highlighted the importance of education and research for the improvement of DU.
He also said this Cell will be dedicated for fostering research excellence, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, acquiring knowledge, collecting strategic partnerships and providing vital support to the faculty members.
