DU holds seminar on stories of peace

Vice-Rector of University for Peace in Costa Rica Prof Amr Abdullah at a seminar at Dhaka University (DU) Tuesday said Islam never allowed any destructive activities like militancy, violence and killing.
"Those, who commit militancy and violence in the name of establishing Islam, are the enemies of Islam. Islam never supports these subversive activities," Abdullah told the seminar, adding that teaching of the holy Quran and Prophet (sm) can help restore peace and happiness everywhere in the world.
