DU passes Tk 4.26b budget

The Dhaka University senate passed the Tk 4.26 billion budget on Saturday for the fiscal 2015-16 in the annual senate session with keeping only one per cent allocation in research sector. DU treasurer Professor M Kamal Uddin placed the budget at the annual senate session at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban with Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique in the chair. The treasurer also presented a Tk 3.96 billion revised budget for the fiscal 2014-15, according to a news agency.
