The Dhaka University authorities are ready to respond positively if the government decides to reopen the university now along with other public universities and colleges.
DU Vice-Chancellor SMA Faiz told this to reporters after a meeting with faculty deans, hall provosts, institute directors and department chairmen to review the overall situation of the university Sunday.
He said the DU would give its compliance to reopen the university anytime at today's (Monday) meeting between education adviser Ayub Quadri and 27 vice-chancellors of public universities.
