DU Shamsun Nahar Hall annual sports contest held

Juairiya Ferdous of Mass Communication and Journalism Department emerged champion in the Shamsun Nahar Hall Annual Sports Competition of Dhaka University (DU) held at University Central playground on Monday, reports UNB.
Nilufa Yesmin of History Department finished runner-up in the day-long meet.
Pro Vice-chancellor (administration) of DU Prof Dr Muhammad Samad inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
Provost of Shamsun Nahar Hall Prof Dr Lafifa Jamal presided over the inaugural function.
University teachers, hall employees and volunteers also took part in the 24 events of the meet alongside the students.
After the meet, DU Treasurer Prof Momtaz Uddin Ahmed distributed the prizes among the winners in the afternoon.
