DU signs deal with Yamaguchi University

Dhaka University (DU) Public Administration Department and Yamaguchi University of Japan Monday signed an agreement to develop cooperation in academic activities and research, reports UNB.
DU treasurer Prof Syed Abul Kalam Azad and Dean of Graduate School of Economics of Yamaguchi University Prof Daijiro Fujii signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institution at DU Vice-chancellor's office in the city Monday.
Vice-chancellor Prof SMA Faiz, Pro-vice chancellor Prof Yusuf Haider, Prof Eri Habu of Yamaguchi University and DU Public Administration Department chairman Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, were present, among others, on the occasion.
Under the agreement, the two universities will also exchange students, researchers, faculty members and publications.
