Nearly one hundred students holding hands and hanging placards from their necks observed the symbolic protest at the foot of Aparajeyo Bangla against what they said unjust detention of their teachers and classmates.
The one-hour human chain was held at 11 am under the banner of 'Nirjatan Birodhi Chhatra-chhatree of DU'. Several left-leaning student organisations including Chhatra Union and Chhatra Front led the programme.
