DU students, Nilkhet traders clash

A group of Dhaka University (DU) students are fighting pitched battles with shop owners at the nearby Nilkhet market. Several shops in Nilkhet, which is the biggest book market in Dhaka, have been torched. Police say the clashes broke out at around 5:30pm on Saturday. It is unclear what triggered the skirmish, according to a news agency.
