DU students stage demo

The Bangla Department students of Dhaka University (DU) on Sunday staged demonstration on the campus in protest against the alleged move of the education ministry to include the Linguistics students in the BCS education cadre along with them. They brought out a procession from the foot of Aparajeya Bangla about 10:30 am. The procession ended at the same place after parading the major points of the campus. The speakers warned that a tough movement will be waged if the move of the education ministry is materialised, according to a news agency.
