DU students stage demos

Master 1st semester students of the Political Science Department of Dhaka University confined their 12 teachers to the department demanding reviewing the result of their honours final examinations. Campus sources said the agitating students locked the department around 12pm to press home their demand. Later, Dean of the Social Sciences Faculty Prof Dr Farid Uddin rescued the teachers around 3pm after promising the students of reviewing their results, according to a news agency.
