DUAA, NCC Bank sign MoU

Dhaka University Alumni Association (DUAA) and National Credit and Commerce Bank (NCC) singed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday for installing a gate named “Freedom and Democracy” at the university entrance at Nilkhet area. President of DUAA Raquibuddin Ahmed and Managing Director of NCC Bank Limited Golam Hafiz Ahmed signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations. DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique attended the function as the chief guest while Pro-VC (Academic) Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad, Pro-VC (Administration) Prof Dr Shahid Akhtar Hossain and Chairman and Directors of NCC Bank and high officials of the university were present on the occasion.  According to the MoU, the NCC Bank will finance about Tk 10 million to  install the gate at Nilkhet point, according to a news agency.
