Dubai Shopping Festival kicks off today

Tuesday, 26 December 2017

Dubai, Dec 25: The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the annual citywide shopping extravaganza, starts today (Tuesday), lasting until January 27, featuring huge sales and family entertainment, reports Gulf News.
To mark the occasion, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai Tourism, has highlighted the best things to do on the opening day of DSF.
Residents and visitors can also follow @DSFSocial on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for further information on sales and to keep up to date on all the weekly offers throughout DSF.
On day one, there will be a 12-hour sale to kick off the 23rd edition of DSF.
Majid Al Futtaim, in partnership with DFRE, has announced it will host the mega-sale exclusive to its shopping malls in Dubai: Mall of the Emirates, City Centres Deira, Mirdif, Me'aisem, Al Shindagha and My City Centre Al Barsha.
Participating retailers in each of the malls will offer discounts of up to 90 per cent until stocks run out.
Moreover, during the 12-hour sale -- from 12:00 noon to 12 midnight --shoppers who spend Dh200 can enter a draw to win a grand prize of Dh50,000.
Starting with IKEA, one of the largest retailers in the world, from Tuesday until January 1, for every purchase of Dh1,000 in the Dubai store, shoppers will automatically be entered into a draw to win a concept room, which has been created specifically for DSF. The winner will be announced on January 2.
