Duminy, Villiers lay platform for huge total
Saturday, 23 October 2010
Another large South African total loomed in the third ODI at Benoni as half-centuries from Jean-Paul Duminy and AB de Villiers powered the hosts to 163 for 2 at the 25-over mark, according to website cricinfo.
Zimbabwe's bowlers struggled yet again - Ian Nicolson coming in for some fearful punishment in just his second match in national colours - and despite a brief stumble when Graeme Smith and Hashim Amla fell in consecutive overs, South Africa quickly took complete control of the game.
South Africa: 163 for 2 (Duminy 56*, de Villiers 51*, Utseya 1-25) v Zimbabwe, Overs: 25.
