Dusts command firm rates

Demand was good, although strong competition seen for the best liquoring types was not as forceful as in the last sale owing to which there was slight easing of the higher valued teas. Apart from that, all other varieties particularly well made good liquoring types maintained their values. Blenders were fairly active with a little less interest from the Loose tea buyers. Pakistan buyers lent some support. Dusts were a good market at firm rates. Dusts were a good market at frm rates,
CTC LEAF: 21,468 packages and 120 packages of old Season on offer met with a good demand at around last levels.
BROKENS: Well made BOPs were strongly competed for and were generally firm to slightly dearer and these could be quoted between Tk 125 and Tk 128.
Smaller clean varieties also sold well and these could be quoted between Tk 124 and Tk 126. All other descriptions were slightly easier following quality.
FANNINGS: Well made Fanaings were quite strongly competed for and were generally a firm market and these could be quoted between Tk 126 and Tk 179 whilst others were often slightly easier.
CTC DUST: 3,474 packages and 3 packages of Old Season on offer met with a good demand. Select few lines of best liquoring types were slightly easier following less competition and these could be quoted between T'k 130 and Tk135. All others were firm to occasionally dearer in line with quality.Blenders lent good support with some interest from the Loose tea buyers. Pakistan operated for the best liquoring varieties.
