Dusts get dearer rates

FE Reportbr There was a strong demand in the market following more interest from all sections of the market. Blenders and Packeteers lent a stronger support as well as the Loose tea buyers. Pakistan showed more interest whilst Afghanistan buyers lent a fair support. As a result, prices moved up in sellers' favour. Dusts were again a stronger market at dearer rates.brCTC LEAF 19,938 packages on offer met with a stronger demand at dearer rates.brBrokens All brokens were a strong market and were dearer by Tk 2.00 to Tk 4.00 particularly well made BOPs. These could be quoted between Tk 124 and Tk 127. All others were also a dearer market whilst the plainest were a firm feature.brFANNINGS Well-made Fannings were again a strong market and were often dearer by Tk 2.00 to Tk 3.00 and could quote these between Tk 126 and Tk 129 whilst all others were dearer.brCTC DUST 3,432 packages, on offer met with a strong demand at dearer rates. Well-made good liquoring types were dearer by Tk 2.00 to Tk 3.00 and sometimes more following strong competition particularly RDsDs. All others were mostly firm to slightly dearer in line with quality. Blenders were very active with good support from the Loose tea buyers. Pakistan operated strongly on best liquoring types.
