DUTA expresses deep concern for Dr Emran

Dhaka University Teachers' Association (DUTA) expressed deep concern over the attack on Prof Dr Emran Kabir Chpwdhury at his residence yesterday, reports BSS. President and general secretary of the association in a written statement Prof Dr Md Anwar Hossain and Prof Dr Sahid Aktar Hussain urged the government and the law enforcing agencies to take immediate action, a press release said. They also urged the govt to ensure security of the victim's family. Prof Emran of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, is also a member of Bangladesh Public Service Commission. Earlier, a group of miscreants attacked Prof Dr Emran Kabir Chwodhury at his home located in the campus Friday night.
