Dutch Agri-Business Trade Mission team visits BARI

A delegation of 10 members of the Agri-Business Trade Mission of the Netherlands visited Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) on Thursday, says a press release.
BARI scientists and officers welcomed the delegation at the institute.
During a meeting with the delegation, BARI Director General Dr. Debasish Sarker gave a welcome address at his conference room.
Director (Planning & Evaluation) Dr. Dilwar Ahmed Choudhury gave a brief Power Point presentation on the activities and achievements of BARI.
Joint Secretary (Research Wing) of Ministry of Agriculture Rehana Yasmin, BARI Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ferdouse Islam, Director (Oilseed Research) Dr. Md.Tariqul Islam, Director (Tuber Crops Research Center) Dr. Sohela Akhter, Director (Horticulture) Dr. Gobinda Chandra Biswas, heads of the divisions, scientists and officers were present at the meeting.
Later, the delegation visited IPM and toxicology lab, plant pathology division lab, biotechnology division lab, and expressed their satisfaction at the activities, advancement and achievements of BARI.
