DUTCH-BANGLA BANK INKS TK 30B FINANCING DEAL WITH BB

Dutch-Bangla Bank signed a participation agreement with Bangladesh Bank (BB) under the central bank's Tk 30 billion Cluster Financing Scheme. Under the scheme, eligible entrepreneurs will be able to avail themselves of financing at a concessional interest rate of seven per cent per annum. In the presence of BB Deputy Governor Nurun Nahar and Executive Director Husne Ara Shikha, the signing ceremony took place at BB headquarters recently. Dutch-Bangla Bank Managing Director and CEO Md. Ahteshamul Haque Khan and BB Director (SMESPD) Nawshad Mustafa signed the agreement.
