Dutch Trade Fair-2011 begins from Oct 27

A three-day Dutch Trade Fair 2011 will begin on October 27 at the Ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city with a view to increase the bilateral trade between Bangladesh and Netherlands. Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DBCCI) will organise the fair for the first time in Bangladesh. Triune Exhibition and Event Management Services (TEEMS) will manage the event. DBCCI and TEEMS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to manage the event. Netherlands Ambassador to Bangladesh Alphons Hennekens formally announced the fair to be held in the city Sunday. President of Dutch Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mir Md Imam Hossain, Chairman of the fair subcommittee Asif A Chowdhury and TEEMS Managing Director Kazi Wahidul Alam were also present on the occasion, among others. Imam Hossain said, "This is for the first time we are going to organise the Dutch fair here with a view to increase bilateral trade between the two countries." There will be 56 stalls of Dutch and local enterprises. The fair will remain open from 10am to 8pm everyday and the entry of the fair is not fixed yet.
