Dyeing factory, 10 shops gutted in Gazipur

GAZIPUR, Nov 14 (UNB): One dyeing factory and 10 adjoining shops were gutted in a devastating fire in Mouchak area of Kaliakoir upazila in Gazipur this (Monday) morning.
Fire service sources said the fire originated from a leak in gas pipeline of the US Yarn Dyeing Factory and soon engulfed the adjacent 10 shops at around 4am.
The affected factory and shop owners claimed that the extent of loss from the fire could go up to Tk 15m.
