Dyeing unit, shopping plaza floor catch fire

A dyeing factory was burnt down at Hazaribagh in the capital Friday. The fire started at Jeans Treat Ltd, located beside Karim Leather Factory, around 2:45pm, said Mainul Islam, OC of Hazaribagh Police Station.  Six fire-fighting units brought the fire under control around 3:45pm. He, however, could not say anything about the reason of the fire or how much damage had been done. Around the same time, another fire broke out on the second floor of Arcadia Plaza, a shopping mall in Dhanmandi. Two units of the fire service doused the fire after half an hour's effort. Earlier, a motor parts storehouse had also caught fire at Bangsal in the city.
