Earthquake felt in Bangladesh, India

A mild earthquake has been felt in Dhaka, Chittagong and many other regions of Bangladesh.
The Meteorological Department said the tremor was felt around 10:20pm Wednesday.
But it did not say immediately how much the quake measured on the Richter scale.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage, according to a news agency.
Dhaka University’s Earth Observatory supervisor Syed Humayun Akhtar confirmed the earthquake around 10:45pm.
The epicentre of the earthquake was close to the Andaman Islands in the Bay of Bengal, he said.
The intensity was over 6 on the Richtar scale, which means it was more than moderate, he added.
Tremors were felt in Delhi, Bihar's Gaya, Ranchi, Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar and Vishakhapatnam of India.
Tamil Nadu capital Chennai was also rattled by the earthquake.
Earthquake was also felt in Delhi-NCR region, the TOI further said.
